Had to do a quick monkey patch (first time in 20 intermittent years of Ruby) which cost me — not much really. Site build time still 2-3s instead of 15-20s w/o my joyfully scandalous additions of the last couple days.
1300 words into the post, but had to fix the thing first.

Stellaris is on sale with a “starter kit” (?) of DLC for roughly the same price as Rimworld which has no DLC, is never on sale & looks at least as awesome.
Oh but hey there’s an update for Terraria which I already own.
Since I have no regular income. Terraria it is!
