Glad I’m employed for the normal reasons but also my employment security case is still Pending for every filing from the first in April to the last in late June. No payments ever received.
That had consequences obvs. But we’re both working now & still housed. Could be worse.

@ponfarr Sounds right, yep. Basic flow with heel flap goes: cuff, leg, heel flap, weird little decrease [hang on, lemme check library] heel turn, gusset, instep, toe.

@ponfarr oh no! Good luck. I’ve managed to limp along with 4 dpns after a breakage by rearranging stitches, but a spare needle’s much better.

So far my main impression of PyCharm is a) it’s kinda pretty; and b) it makes Visual Studio Code look snappy.
Admittedly VS Code is snappy for an Electron app, though less so with my bazillion plugins.

@lmorchard Mine was an out of pocket RAM upgrade for the work laptop. That’s been good enough for VS Code, but PyCharm still suffers. I think it caches more to disk maybe?
I’m also regularly stalking work’s IT/ops activities, jumping to my much burlier personal system for anything available outside the VPN the minute I hear about it.
