I’m not dead yet! Site wasn’t updating because Netlify failed with an exit code 2. Bit vague. Finally had a few minutes to look closer.
Turns out it’s because I’ve been keeping up locally with Hugo releases and syntax changes, but not telling Netlify. They need the same version of Hugo that I use.
So now I’ve got a basic netlify.toml based on Netlify Hugo docs.
Code Sample
[build]
command = "hugo"
publish = "public"
[build.environment]
HUGO_VERSION = "0.101.0"
Looks like everything is good again.

@jaywilliams My favorites these days lean towards bright and purple, like a Fairyfloss, Witch Hazel, or well-done 80s Neon.
But Solarized is my base line, and what I fall back on when I can’t find or figure out one of the above.

Chief lesson of last night’s puttering: Logseq needs CSS cleanup. Solarized Extended adds nice layers for customization, but Electron’s still working harder than it needs to.
Started a thing, but I got meds today and work to do so not sure when I’ll get back to it.

Doctor was supposed to call for phone appointment five minutes ago, having rescheduled after missing yesterday.
Hey.
Buddy.
I’m supposed to be the one with executive dysfunction here.
But I’d be happy to send you some links.

All right so the doctor’s still sick, but he called, only rasped a little bit through the appointment, and was honestly pretty helpful.
On with my day.

Mrs Geek: “What’s the name of that waltz?”
Me: “…which waltz?”
She: “The one that goes do do do do do Dun Dun Dun Dun”
Me: “…”
She: “…”
Me: “Check the soundtrack for 2001. They used it for the docking sequence. Blue Danube.”
To be clear she’s got a lovely voice and I knew the tune when she tried it, this was more me being amused how I untangle my collected trivia to get at useful information like the name of the tune.

I had enough time to figure out how to do a thing for work and now I’m scribbling notes quick before the meeting that starts in two minutes wipes my brain cleaner than an Etch-a-sketch in an earthquake.

Ah #TIL it.each() is how to do test parametrization in Jest.

The code I am writing in TypeScript is starting to look like the code I would write if I knew TypeScript.
I consider this a promising sign.

I can tell there’s been a lot of learning for this task because I’ve got about 3,000 words of notes directly for the task itself and probably double that on adjacent topic notes.
Not because it’s a big task. It’s just all new to me.
