Oh whoa Dropbox sync for Joplin started working again after a couple years. Did they fix it? Did I fix it? No clue.

One nice thing about Joplin vs other Markdown-enabled note applications is it supports description list syntax

which is annoyingly unusual for the main crop of Markdown-enabled note applications.
