@phocks Was idly pondering the other night how Tom Hanks was the king of sentimental quirky comedy in the 80s.
Still basically formulaic, but weird premises and processing actual adult emotions here and there – way more than most of the other stuff at the time.

@tk Honestly a reasonable choice. taskd is kind of a mess, but I’m not sure the new sync is better. Not having a straightforward upgrade / downgrade path for sync after automatically updating to 3.0 was the insult.

Jumpy Dog tried to chase a roadrunner today so I gave her a stern lecture about how she’d just end up with an anvil on her head and her mother didn’t make her watch enough cartoons.
