We have been informed that we will be getting our stuff this afternoon instead of tomorrow morning, which TBH is a little anticlimactic since the original delivery estimate window closed yesterday and we still gotta pay the dudes but hey we’ll have our stuff – that which we didn’t aggressively cull – in the new place!

Mind you I’m not grumbling about paying the moving company because they’re a day past their estimate. Lord I’m not that hypocritical. Just remarking that paying a chunk of money detracts from the celebratory air.

@lordbowlich @thegibson Sadly and somewhat ironically, I’ve given up on my Apple iDevices for mobile music. If it’s not a podcast or a preselected streaming playlist, I don’t bother.

We saw some big bull-headed black ants on the morning dog walk, which had me looking them up later (carpenter ants) and looking for material on local ant species. Thinking of @futurebird and stayed away from the ones hosted on exterminator sites.
